NYC Duo Arrested For Attack On 82-Year-Old Woman: Police

The incident happened on Aug. 2 in the Bronx, near East 212th Street and White Plains Road, police said.

THE BRONX, NY — A 32-year-old man and woman have been arrested and charged for attacking an 82-year-old woman on a New York City street, police announced.

William Ballinger and Tammie Moore have been charged with second and third degree assault, police said

The incident happened on Aug. 2 in the Bronx, near East 212th Street and White Plains Road, police said.

The 82-year-old woman was approached by the duo, who proceeded to punch her and slamming her to the ground. While on the ground, the duo stomped on the woman, police said.

Ballinger and Moore fled the scene on foot, traveling eastbound on E 212 Street towards Holland Avenue, police said.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition, police said.
