NYC Heat Advisory: Hazardously Hot Temperatures Predicted Tuesday
New York City will be under a heat advisory between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
NEW YORK CITY — It's about to get hazardously hot in New York City. Forecasters have issued a heat advisory in the city from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, during which time it's going to be about 95 degrees outside, according to the National Weather Service.
City officials warned New Yorkers to avoid strenuous activity outside, to keep cool and hydrated, and check in on neighbors who might be more vulnerable to the heat.

Weather.gov forecasts show the intense heat will fade after sunset Tuesday and temperatures are predicted to remain in the mid-80s for the rest of the week.
