Six of the top 10 neighborhoods are in Brooklyn, three in Queens, with just one in Manhattan​.

NEW YORK CITY — New York City housing market continues to evolve as renters and buyer looks for more affordable options — and neighborhoods in Queens and Brooklyn lead the charge, according to new StreetEasy data.

According to StreetEasy's "10 NYC Neighborhoods to Watch” report, six of the top 10 neighborhoods are in Brooklyn, three in Queens, and with just one in Manhattan.

Ridgewood, Queens claimed the top spot for the second year in a row, according to StreetEasy.

StreetEasy searches for Ridgewood surged s 13.2% this year, with the median asking rent rising 8.3 percent to $3,250.

For buyers, the median asking price rose 8.4 percent to around $1.3 million.

Ridgewood in recent years has become an escape to neighboring Bushwick's partying scene, as one Reddit user put it: "Bushwick is for partying, Ridgewood is for living.”
