The incident happened just before 6 p.m. near a stand on Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside, police said.
A 35-year-old vendor was stabbed repeatedly after getting into an argument with a 47-year-old man, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
The suspect was taken into custody. As of Monday afternoon, it is unclear if the man has been formally charged.
