NYC Subway Delays: Passenger, Train Issues Rankle 10 Lines
The MTA warned of delays on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, E, F and M trains Monday morning.

NEW YORK — Train problems and sick passengers roiled rush-hour commutes on 10 subway lines Monday morning. The MTA warned of delays and service changes affecting the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, E, B, D, F and M lines because of the various issues.
E, F and M trains were hit by "extensive delays" after someone needing medical assistance was helped at Forest Hills-71st Avenue, the transit agency said. And signal problems at Herald Square caused delays on the B and D lines, the agency said.
A train's brakes getting activated between 96th Street and Central Park North forced northbound 3 trains to stop along the 1 line from 96th Street to 137th Street, while some northbound 2 trains were running along the 5 line from Nevins Street to 149th Street-Grand Concourse, the MTA said.
