NYC Subway Flyers Collect #WhyIDidntReport Stories
The flyers showed up in subway stations amid the fight over Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court.

NEW YORK — Flyers hung in the New York City subway aim to build on the online testimony of thousands of sexual assault survivors amid the fight over Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court.
Two art students reportedly plastered several stations with more than 1,000 flyers that say "#WhyIDidntReport:" at the top, with plenty of blank space below for survivors to fill in their stories.
The hashtag has amassed thousands of accounts from survivors about why they did not report their assaults since President Donald Trump targeted Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has accused Kavanaugh of trying to rape her when they were teenagers.

Some New Yorkers have written their stories on the physical fliers, while an Instagram account associated with the campaign has collected others.
The two School of Visual Arts students behind the project, Ha Jung Song and Bowook Yoon, also planned to hold a Friday demonstration where people could share their experiences, according to Gothamist.

"People are so scared, and they really just want someone to listen to them, believe them, encourage them and support them," Song told the website. "They’re not only sharing their experience, but also sharing their feelings and rage."
