Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Alyssa has worked her entire career with children who have specific language-based learning disabilities and language disorders such as dyslexia, auditory processing delays, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. She is patient and kind. Alyssa is the type of teacher I wish I had growing up. She is someone who takes an invested interest in each student and collaborates with her fellow teachers and parents to help each student.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Alyssa roots for each kid's success and defines that students success by who they are as an individual.
