NYC Weather: Area Under 2-Day Heat Advisory, Temps In the 90s

NEW YORK CITY — New York City will be under a two-day heat advisory as temperatures return to the 90s along with high humidity, forecasters said.

The advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. Wednesday until Thursday, 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

For Wednesday, temperatures will almost crack 90 degrees — with a high of 88 degrees —but outside it will feel even higher due to humidity, forecasters warn.

The weekend is expected to be mostly dry, with Friday being another sunny day with a high temperature of 89 degrees.

Saturday will see temperatures once again above the mid 80s, but Sunday could break the streak of good weather with a current 50 percent chance of rain with temperatures projected to hit 85 degrees.
