NYC Weather: Chilly Temperatures To Stick Around Until Weekend

Warmer temperatures and a chance of rain are expected for the end of the week.

NEW YORK — Don't hang up that scarf. Unusually chilly weather will stick around New York City until the weekend brings warmer temperatures and a chance of rain, the National Weather Service says.

Highs in the upper 30s and low 40s are expected in Central Park from Monday through Thursday, a bit colder than the usual levels in the mid-40s, according to the weather service.

Wind chills will make it feel nippier early in the week despite the expected sunshine, the forecast shows. Monday, for instance, will bring wind chills between 20 and 30 degrees with the high temperature near 40, the weather service says.
