NYC Weather: Dangerous Heat Advisory Extended Into Friday

Summer isn't done — a heat wave will linger a fourth day into Friday, along with a risk of thunderstorms, forecasters said.

NEW YORK CITY — Summer's last, hot gasp isn't over yet for New York City.

Hot and humid conditions could bring a heat index of 100 degrees across the city both Thursday and Friday, forecasters warned.
