NYC Weather Forecast: Drenching Rain Expected All Week
The National Weather Service is warning of flash floods starting tonight and stretching through the week.

NEW YORK, NY – A slow-moving storm threatens to soak New York City Saturday night into Sunday – and then hover over the area for most of next week.
Forecasters are warning that flash floods could hit throughout the next seven days. Initially they'd also been concerned that weak tornadoes could form in the area, though that fear had lessened by Saturday.
Though rain is expected to start after 3 p.m. Saturday, a heavy downpour isn't forecast under early morning Sunday with up to two inches of rain possible, accompanied by gusty winds.

And the bad weather won't clear the area fast.
"A nearly stationary frontal system could produce showers and thunderstorms capable of causing flash flooding through much of the week," the National Weather Service said.
