NYC Weather: Latest Forecast As Winter Storm Nears
NYC is now expected to avoid the worst of the storm.

NEW YORK – Sorry, snow lovers. The National Weather Service says the snowpocalypse that threatened the city is now setting its sights further north, though it's still bringing a soaking mess that's likely to freeze by Sunday night.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the city until 4 a.m. Sunday with up to 2 inches of snow expected to accumulate before it turns to rain late Saturday night. Much more is headed further north, the service said.
A likely flash freeze late Sunday into early Monday morning is the main issue of concern.
