NYC Weather: Snow, Sleet And Rain About To Fall
Get ready for snow, sleet and rain Monday afternoon in New York City, forecasters say.

NEW YORK CITY — No one dreams of a white two days after Christmas, but forecasters say New York is going to get one.
The National Weather Service Monday morning warned New York to expect snow, sleet and rain in the afternoon and evening.
A spattering of snow could fall between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. as temperatures hover in the mid-30s all day, forecasters said.

A slight chance of snow between 1pm and 4pm, then a chance of rain, snow, and sleet. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 36. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

A chance of rain, snow, and sleet before 7pm, then a chance of rain and sleet between 7pm and 9pm, then a chance of rain after 9pm. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 42 by 1am. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Tuesday
A slight chance of rain before 7am, then a slight chance of rain after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. West wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Rain likely, mainly after 7pm. Cloudy, with a low around 43. North wind 6 to 8 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
