NYC Weather: Warm Halloween Expected After Nasty Nor'easter
NYC will see a sunny and warm Halloween before rain returns Thursday night.

NEW YORK — New York City will see clear skies and a warm, mostly sunny Halloween after a weekend soak, the National Weather Service says, though more rain is on its way for the end of the work week.
A chance of rain will loom Monday morning, but the day should otherwise be mostly sunny with a slightly cooler than normal high near 56 degrees, the weather service says.
The sunshine is expected to continue Tuesday and Wednesday, with Halloween temperatures reaching a warmer than normal high near 64, the forecast shows.

The sunny streak will follow a somewhat dreary weekend in which a nor'easter dumped more than an inch of rain on Central Park on Saturday, according to the weather service. The city was luckier than other parts of the metropolitan area — one neighborhood along Lordship Beach, Connecticut was put underwater by flooding, AccuWeather reported.
Wet weather is expected to return later this week — a chance of rain will roll in Thursday evening and loom throughout Friday and into Saturday, the weather service's forecast shows. But at least it'll be warm, as highs in the mid- to upper 60s are expected for the end of the work week, according to the weather service.
