NYC Weather: Weekend Cooldown, Rain To Relieve Heat
It'll feel a bit like fall after a week of sweltering heat.

NEW YORK — Cooler temperatures and possible showers this weekend will give New York City relief from the recent sweltering heat, the National Weather Service predicts.
Friday will bring a 20 percent chance of rain and a high temperature near 77, the weather service says — about 15 degrees cooler than Thursday's high mark in Central Park, where the heat index got as high as 102.
Temperatures will get progressively cooler over the weekend, making the city feel a bit like fall. Cloudy skies and a high near 74 are expected Saturday, the weather service says.
