NYC Weather: White Christmas Looks Likely In Early Forecast

The Weather Channel is expecting snow.

NEW YORK, NY – It's beginning to look a lot like a white Christmas. The first mainstream forecast to include Christmas Day has been issued – and it shows a holiday like the ones Bing Crosby used to know could be on the way.

The Weather Channel is predicting flurries on the morning of Dec. 25, with the showers returning later in the day and continue into Dec. 26, possibly dumping a little less than an inch of snow on New York City.

The forecast lines up with long range predictions from the Farmers' Almanac and the Old Farmer's Almanac which both use secret formulas to forecast what's to come.

The Weather Channel doesn't expect any snow to fall on the city before Christmas Day.

It should also be noted that forecasts made so far in advance are notoriously unreliable.
