NYC Weekend Subway Service Changes for Oct. 29-30

NEW YORK, NY — This Halloween weekend will see plenty of people coming to and from parties, so you better know all the subway changes happening.

Here are this weekend's major scheduled subway changes. (You can get additional details on the MTA's Weekender website.)

1 train:

• No trains between 14 St and South Ferry
• Trains skip 18, 23 and 28 Sts; 2, 3 trains provide alternate service

2 train:

• Trains run local in both directions between 34 St-Penn Station and Chambers St
• Wakefield-bound trains run express from 3 Av-149 St to E 180 St
• All trains board at the Manhattan-bound platform at 3 Av-149 St Station

3 train:

• Trains skip Pennsylvania Av Station in both directions
• Service operates between 148 St and New Lots Av
• Trains run local in both directions between 34 St-Penn Station and Chambers St

4 train:

• No trains between Brooklyn Bridge and Utica Av/New Lots Av; 2, 3, J, N, Q, R provide alternate service
• Trains run local in both directions between 125 St and Brooklyn Bridge
• Sutter Av-Rutland Rd and Junius St are closed for renovation

5 train:

• Bronx-bound trains skip 138 St-Grand Concourse; Take the 4 instead
• No trains between 149 St-Grand Concourse and Dyre Av
• No trains between E 180 St and Dyre Av
• No trains between Grand Central-42 St and Bowling Green; 4, 6 and R trains provide alternate service

6 train:

• Brooklyn Bridge-bound trains run express from Pelham Bay Park to Parkchester

7 train:

• Flushing-bound trains skip 82, 90, 103 and 111 Sts

A train:

• No trains between 168 St and 207 St
• Trains make local stops in both directions at 155 St and 163 St
• Trains run express in both directions between 145 St and Canal St

C train:

• No trains between 145 St and 168 St; A trains provide alternate service
• Trains run express in both directions between 145 St and Canal St

E train:

• Jamaica Center-bound trains run via the F from W 4 St to 21 St-Queensbridge

D train:

• No trains between 59 St-Columbus Circle and Stillwell Av
• Trains run local in both directions via the C between 145 St and W 4 St

F train:

• Coney Island-bound platforms at Avenue I, Bay Pkwy, Avenue N, Avenue P, Avenue U and Avenue X are closed for renovation
• Coney Island-bound trains run via the E from Roosevelt Av to 5 Av/53 St

M train:

• Essex St-bound trains skip Flushing Av, Lorimer St and Hewes St; Trains run every 20 minutes

N train:

• Trains run via the D in both directions between 36 St and Stillwell Av

Q train:

• Coney Island-bound trains run express from Prospect Park to Sheepshead Bay

R train:

• 36 St-bound shuttle train stops at 53 St and 45 St

J train:

• Broad St-bound trains skip Flushing Av, Lorimer St and Hewes St
