Skipped stops, rerouted trains, street closures: here's how to make sure your weekend travel is less of a nightmare.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Whether staying close to home or hopping around the five boroughs — rerouted subways, street closures and train delays are ready to disrupt New Yorkers weekend travel plans.

Weekend Subway Changes

  • 1: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • 2: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • 3: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • 4: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • 5: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • 6: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • 7: All 7 trains at Hunters Point Ave. and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave board from the Flushing-bound platform.
  • A: No A train between Rockaway Blvd and Far Rockaway Ave.
  • C: No overnight service.
  • E: Trains rerouted. E runs via the F in both directions between 21 St-Queensbridge and W. 4th St.-Wash Square. There will also be some express stops that become local.
  • B: No weekend service
  • D: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • F: Parts suspended. No F service between Church Ave. and Coney Island-Stillwell Ave. Also, no Jamaica-bound F at York Street, East Broadway, Delancey St-Essex St, 2nd Ave and Broadway Lafayette St.
  • M: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • G: Part suspended, no train between Bedford-Nostrand Ave and Court Square.
  • J: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • Z: No weekend service.
  • L: There are no planned service changes for this line.
  • N: Trains rerouted - N line runs via the Q in both directions between DeKalb and Canal St. N will run local in both directions between DeKalb Ave and 59th St, Brooklyn
  • Q: Reduced service. The line will run every 10 minutes during the day and evening.
  • R: No late night R between Whitehall St-South Ferry and Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center.
  • W: No weekend service
  • SIR: There are no planned service changes for this line.

Manhattan

6th Annual Disability Pride Parade

The following streets will be closed for the 6th Annual Disability Pride Parade on Friday September 30th through Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 (at the discretion of NYPD) in Manhattan.

  • 26th Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South
  • 25th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue South
  • Madison Avenue between 24th Street and 26th Street
  • Broadway between 26th Street and 17th Street
  • Union Square West between 17th Street and 14th Street
  • 17th Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue South
  • 16th Street between 5th Avenue and Union Square West
  • 15th Street between 5th Avenue and Union Square West

Nigeria Independence Day Parade and Festival

The following streets will be closed for the Nigeria Independence Day Parade and Festival on Saturday October 1, 2022 (at the Discretion of NYPD) in Manhattan.

  • East 54th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue
  • 2nd Avenue between East 44 Street and East 54th Street (Eastern 3 Lanes ONLY)
  • East 44th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue
  • 2nd Avenue between East 43rd to East 44th Street
  • East 47th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue

DOT Commissioner Back to School Car Free / Open Street Event

The following streets will be closed for the DOT Commissioner Back to School Car Free / Open Street Event on Saturday October 1, 2022 (at the discretion of NYPD) in Manhattan.

  • Dyckman Street between Seaman Avenue to Dyckman Marina

85th General Pulaski Day Parade

The following streets will be closed for the 85th General Pulaski Day Parade on Sunday October 2, 2022 (at the discretion of NYPD) in Manhattan.

  • 36th – 39th Street between 6th Avenue and Madison Avenue
  • 5th Avenue between 36th Street and 55th Street
  • 54th Street between Madison Avenue and 6th Avenue
  • 41st Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue

Brooklyn

Ragamuffin Parade and Festival

The following streets will be closed for the Ragamuffin Parade and Festival on Saturday October 1, 2022 (at the discretion of NYPD) in Brooklyn.

  • 3rd Avenue between Bay Ridge Parkway and 77th Street
  • 3rd Avenue between 77th Street and 94th Street

Falun Dafa Parade

The following streets will be closed for the Falun Dafa Parade on Sunday October 2, 2022 (at the discretion of NYPD) in Brooklyn.

  • 8th Avenue between West 66th and West 68th Street
  • 8th Avenue between West 42nd Street and West 66th Street
  • 8th Avenue between West 40th Street and West 42nd Street

46th Annual Atlantic Antic

The following streets will be closed for the 46th Annual Atlantic Antic on Sunday October 2, 2022 (at the discretion of NYPD) in Brooklyn.

  • Atlantic Avenue between Hicks Street and 4th Avenue
  • Boreum Place between Atlantic Avenue and State Street
