NYC Woman Among Those Killed In DC Plane Crash: Report
There were 67 victims onboard American Airlines' Flight 5382 that collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter.

NEW YORK CITY — A New York City woman is among the victims that were aboard an American Airlines plane that collided with an Army helicopter at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport near Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.
Melissa Jane Nicandri, 28, of Brooklyn, was among the victims, according to her family and a PIX11 report.

President Donald Trump on Thursday said there were no survivors of the deadly crash.

Three Army soldiers were on the Black Hawk helicopter, which was being used in a training exercise out of Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Military.com reported, citing the Pentagon.
U.S. Figure Skating on Thursday confirmed that several of its members were on Flight 5342. They were athletes, coaches and family members, the organization said.
"We are devastated by this unspeakable tragedy and hold the victims' families closely in our hearts," U.S. Figure Skating said in a statement.
Officials have not identified the soldiers, however, it has been confirmed that Ryan O’Hara was the helicopter's crew chief.
Sam Lilley, 28, was the American Airlines pilot killed in the crash.
"This is undoubtedly the worst day of my life," Timothy Lilley, Sam's father and a former Army helicopter pilot, told Fox 5 Atlanta.
