NYC's July 4 Weather Forecast: Clear, Sunny Skies Expected For Fireworks

Here's what the weather is shaping up to be on Fourth of July in New York City.

NEW YORK, NY — Forecasters are calling for clear and sunny skies in New York City all day during the Fourth of July and staying clear into the evening.

We're still a few days out from the night of fireworks and other festivities, but weather experts are saying that it should be a great night to enjoy the outdoors on Independence Day, a relief from last week when some said there could be some showers and storms.

The National Weather Service, for example, is calling for mostly clear skies with a high of 84 and a low of around 66. That, after saying earlier this week there was around a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms on the holiday.
