NYPD Seeks Car, Man Who Fled Scene Of Brutal Bronx Stabbing

The NYPD released photos of a man and a car connected to the murder of 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz.

THE BRONX, NY — Police are looking for a man and a car who they say fled the scene of the brutal murder of a Bronx teenager two weeks ago. The NYPD released photos Wednesday of a Hispanic man and a dark-colored Acura sedan sought in connection with the June 20 killing of 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz.

Authorities have arrested 10 people — including members of the Trinitarios gang — since Guzman-Feliz was fatally stabbed outside a bodega at the corner of East 183rd Street and Bathgate Avenue in the Belmont neighborhood.

The man, described as 20 to 23 years old, fled the scene of the killing in a white sedan heading north on Bathgate Avenue, the NYPD said. He had his hair in a bun and was last seen wearing a shirt, jeans and multi-colored sneakers.

The car, a dark-colored four-door Acura TL from the late 1990s or early 2000s, fled the scene in the same direction, police said. It has damage to the rear passenger's side door, the NYPD said.

The NYPD released the photos a day after police arrested two suspects in connection with the gang-related murder. Diego Suero and Gabriel Ramirez Concepcion, both of the Bronx, were collared Tuesday on charges including murder, manslaughter and gang assault, police said.

Guzman-Feliz's killing — reportedly the result of mistaken identity — led to an outpouring of tips from New Yorkers, police have said.

The teen's killers started chasing him near St. Barnabas Hospital and caught him inside the bodega before pulling him outside and stabbing him, PIX11 reported. He then made his way to the same hospital, where he was eventually pronounced dead.

Police have linked the murder of Guzman-Feliz, also known as Junior, to the brutal June 18 stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in broad daylight on the Bronx River Parkway.

Guzman-Feliz was involved in the NYPD's Police Explorers program. The New York City Police Foundation recently created a college scholarship fund in his honor.
