Opening Weekend Tree Lighting Celebration at NY Waterway’s Holiday Market

Saturday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m.

NY Waterway, which operates the largest ferry fleet between New Jersey and New York, will host an Opening Weekend Tree Lighting Celebration at its Winter Waterway - Holiday Market on Saturday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m.

The Holiday Market – featuring music, festive food, shopping, crafts and other special activities for kids – will be open Saturday, November 29 through November 30 inside the Midtown Ferry Terminal, 459 12th Avenue at West 39th Street in Manhattan. The market is free to attend and open on weekends (Friday through Sunday) from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., November 29 through December 28.

Families visiting the holiday market can enjoy various holiday-themed snacks and beverages, available for purchase from over 16 vendors, including Cold Stone Creamery, My Mountain Sweets and Glace, and great holiday shopping at the indoor market including jewelry, candles, clothing and books. Families can also get into the holiday spirit with special appearances by Santa.

Also, starting Friday, November 28, kids ride free on all NY Waterway ferry routes between New Jersey and Manhattan for the holiday season, including to and from the Winter Holiday Market. NY Waterway also has free multi-route shuttles to many holiday attractions in New York City from and back to the Midtown W39th St Ferry Terminal. More information is available at nywaterway.com/BusStopsSchedules.
