NEW YORK, NY — New Yorkers went to the polls Tuesday to elect a new mayor, choosing between Eric Adams, the Democrat and frontrunner, or Curtis Sliwa, the Republican candidate. With many New Yorkers already casting an early ballot, Tuesday will decide the political fate of the city for the next four years.
Many other races were on the ballot, too, including public advocate, comptroller, and dozens of City Council elections.
