Suspect Sought After Escaping Police Custody In Manhattan

The man was last seen near FDR Drive and East 30th Street.

NEW YORK CITY — The NYPD is searching for a 34-year-old man who escaped police custody in Manhattan on Thursday.

The suspect managed to escape outside of NYU Langone Health Hospital around 7 p.m., police said.

It's unclear at this time if the suspect was being taken to hospital.
