Port Authority Bus Crashes Into Midtown Building

The bus reportedly lost control and crashed into a building on East 41st Street.

NEW YORK CITY — A Port Authority bus crashed into scaffolding in Midtown on Thursday, leaving one person injured, according to the FDNY.

The bus reportedly lost control and drove onto the sidewalk before crashing into a building on East 41st Street between Lexington Avenue and Park Avenue around 4:35 p.m.

One person was taken to Bellevue Hospital, their current condition is not known at this time, according to police.
