Pro-Israel Professor Barred From Columbia University Campus: Report
Shai Davidai has been accused of repeatedly harassing and intimidating a number of school employees, officials said.
NEW YORK CITY — A pro-Israel professor has been barred from the Columbia University campus after being accused of repeatedly harassing and intimidating a number of school employees.
Shai Davidai, an assistant business professor, has used his X account to accuse student groups of supporting terrorism and in a video last week he can be seen following Cas Holloway, the university’s chief operating officer, asking him why pro-Palestinian protests were allowed on campus, The New York Times reported.
"How did you allow this to happen on Oct. 7?” Davidai can be heard saying in the video.

The assistant business professor also alleged called Rashid Khalidi, a Palestinian scholar at Columbia, “spokesperson for Hamas," according to the report.
Campus officials notified Davidai of its decision on Tuesday.

In a statement, it said Davidai had “repeatedly harassed and intimidated university employees in violation of university policy” and that it would temporarily limit his access to campus., according to the report.
Davidai, in a social media video, alluded to possibly pursuing legal action against the university.
