NEW YORK CITY — 2022 was quite the year, bringing us a new mayor, new COVID variants and new types of Ponzi schemes.
But it also brought us new restaurants, which means new places to enjoy new food while catching up with family, friends or alone with a favorite book.
New York City, despite its economic struggles, had a bounty of new eateries open over the last year, ranging from cafes to exquisite seafood to vegan fusion and a favorite barbecue spot rebuilding after a devastating fire.
