NEW YORK CITY — Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of raping a 16-year-old girl more than two decades ago after luring her into his car as she walked home.

In the new lawsuit, the victim alleges, in 2000, she was walking home from a baby-sitting job in Lower Manhattan when she ran into Combs, according to court documents filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The victim disclosed her baby-sitting job was in the same building where Combs lived.

The music mogul was allegedly sitting in a car outside the building with two male employees, and offered her a ride home.

After repeatedly offering her a ride home, telling her it wasn't safe for her to be walking alone at night, the victim decided to get into the vehicle.

The teen became scared when Combs and the other men did not take to her building. Inside the car, she was offered a drink to calm herself down.

The victim says she became “groggy” and “unsteady" shortly after.

Combs allegedly took the victim to another location, where he is accused of raping her, according to court documents and multiple media reports.

Combs’ two employees then drove her home and left her in the lobby of her building.

Other Sexual Assault Lawsuits

In December, three men accused Combs of rape and sexual assault in separate lawsuits filed in Manhattan, with incidents occurring at two New York City hotels and his East Hampton estate, Patch previously reported.

In October, six other sexual assault lawsuits were filed anonymously in Manhattan federal court against Combs in connection to incidents between 1995 and 2021.

Sex Crimes Trial Set For May 2025

Combs' sex crimes trial will begin on May 5, 2025.

Prosecutors have said that there could be a superseding indictment, Patch previously reported.

Combs had been placed on suicide watch as he remains detained for his upcoming sex crimes trial, Patch previously reported.

Combs was put on suicide watch as a "preventative measure" while he's held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. He is facing racketeering and sex trafficking charges following his arrest in Manhattan.

Combs was denied bail following an appeal hearing in a Manhattan court in September. Combs and his lawyers were seeking house arrest as he awaits his trial.

Sex Trafficking/Racketeering Case

In an unsealed indictment, prosecutors allege Combs created "a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in" various crimes, such as "sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice."

In addition, Combs used his businesses and employees to carry out, facilitate, and cover up his abuse and commercial sex, according to prosecutors. The employees remained 'loyal' through acts of violence and threats, prosecutors said.

He is also accused of threatening and forcing victims to perform sex acts that he would record called "freak offs", according to the indictment.

Combs would assault women by striking, punching, dragging, throwing objects at and kicking them, prosecutors said.

From 2008 to the present, Combs abused, threatened and coerced victims to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct, Damian Williams, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said at a press conference.
