Shara Strand Brings “Love Forever” to The Green Room 42

A Heartfelt, Broadway-Inspired Celebration of Love and Resilience

After stepping away from the stage to focus on family and creative ventures, acclaimed singer-songwriter Shara Strand is ready to shine once again. On November 9 at 1 PM, Strand will perform songs from her new album Love Forever at The Green Room 42 in New York City, blending her signature pop-soul sound with the emotional storytelling that first earned her a place in the Broadway community. The concert also supports a meaningful cause, with proceeds benefiting Kilimanjaro Initiative USA, empowering underprivileged youth through leadership expeditions.

Love Forever is a celebration of freedom, the moment I chose to end a fear-based pattern in my life and step fully into love, creativity, and purpose,” says Strand. “Each song was born from that shift, from pain into empowerment, from hesitation into joy. Compared to my past work, which reflected what I was still learning or healing from, Love Forever comes from a place of wholeness. It’s about using my voice and my heart to give back to the world.”

Fans attending the November 9 show can expect a full live band, emotional storytelling, and a few special surprises, including a duet with her daughter Alexa on the moving track “I Will Carry You.” Strand promises moments of vulnerability, joy, and gratitude, sharing the stories behind each song.

Performing in New York City feels especially personal for Strand. “Performing here is like coming home. I grew up in this city, built my life here, and my beauty business, Shara Makeup Studio on the Upper East Side, is still thriving. Bringing Love Forever to a New York stage feels deeply personal because it’s where I’ve evolved both as an artist and as a woman.”

Tracks like “Soul Dad,” a heartfelt tribute to her late father, and manifestation songs like “Second Chances” and “Happy Ending” highlight the album’s themes of love, resilience, and transformation. “When I perform these songs, I’m inviting others to find their own way into their dreams and believe that what they hope for can truly come to be,” she shares.

Strand’s sound on Love Forever blends elements of folk, country, pop, R&B, gospel, and classic Broadway storytelling, a reflection of the many facets of her heart. “I wanted every song to live in its own truth while connecting to a larger story about love and resilience. Love, for yourself, for others, for life itself, is the greatest creative force we have,” she says.

With a live band, intimate storytelling, and no backing tracks, the Green Room 42 performance promises to be a raw, authentic experience. Strand adds, “If people leave feeling more inspired and a little lighter than when they arrived, then I’ve done my job.”
