The suspects fled the scene in the Jeep and later abandoned the vehicle for a black sedan, police said.

Two days later, the group attempted to rob a jewelry store in Brooklyn.

The men tried to break the windows at Pyramids Jewelry II with sledgehammers and hammers around 1:35 p.m but were unsuccessful, police said.

The trio then fled in a Honda Civic with Pennsylvania plates reading LKH8653 and traveled in an unknown direction.

No injures were reported from both incidents.

No arrests have been made as of Wednesday night. An investigation remains ongoing.
