Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas Strike Deal In Rocky NYC Child Custody Case
The divorcing duo is near an agreement over Turner suing the New Jersey native singer to return their children to England, documents show.
NEW YORK CITY — Joe Jonas' and Sophie Turner's child custody case is no longer burnin' up.
The divorcing duo have reached a deal in a case in which Turner accused Jonas of refusing to let their children leave the U.S., according to federal court documents filed in Manhattan Tuesday.
Jonas and Turner asked a judge to place the case on hold after they had days of productive mediation last week, documents state.

"Due to the progress made at mediation, the parties believe that an amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming," a filing states.
The request appears to show the famous no-longer-couple's rocky divorce is smoothing out.

Private acrimony burst into public view in September when Turner sued Jonas, a native of Bergen County, New Jersey, under the Hague Convention, an international law that covers cases of child abduction.
Turner accused Jonas of refusing to allow their children to return to her native England and taking their passports, according to court filings.
