'Springsteen On Broadway' Extended Through June 2018
The Boss' show will run for another four months.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — If you haven't gotten to see Bruce Springsteen live on the Great White Way, don't fret — the Boss just extended his "Springsteen on Broadway" show through June 2018. The New Jersey native will play another four months of shows from Feb. 28 to June 30 of next year, he announced Monday.
Springsteen's initial 16-week run at the Walter Kerr Theater on West 48th Street sold out almost instantly. By Feb. 3, the day the initial run was supposed to end, he'll have played 80 shows on Broadway. The production opened Oct. 12.
Tickets for the new batch of shows will go on sale through Ticketmaster on Dec. 19. "Due to overwhelming participation" in the first round of ticket sales in August, only those who previously registered with Ticketmaster's "Verified Fan" program will be able to get tickets this time around.

Many Springsteen fans reported problems buying tickets through Ticketmaster's program. "Verified Fan" was an effort to reduce online scalping, but tickets went up on StubHub for exorbitant prices anyway.
Ticketmaster will email you if you got a code to buy tickets in August but couldn't complete the purchase, or were put on the standby list and didn't get a code.

If that's not you, there's still another way to see Springsteen. You can enter a lottery to win tickets through the website Lucky Seat after the Dec. 19 sale date.
The rock icon's show has gotten positive reviews from The New York Times and Rolling Stone. If you can't make it in person, check out the show's set list on Spotify or Apple Music.
