NEW YORK CITY — All aboard for a slow Monday commute.

Delays hit at least seven subway lines during the morning rush hour as straphangers returned to work, according to MTA posts.

Commutes along the 4, 5 and 6 lines slowed as crews removed debris from the tracks and moved a train that had its brakes activated at Canal Street, a post states.

The 4 and 5 ran slow headed south, while the 6 was delayed in both directions, officials said.

Likewise, L trains headed toward Canarsie were delayed as crews worked to move a train that had its brakes activated near Atlantic Avenue, according to a post.

Trains along the 2 and 3 lines ran with delays headed north as MTA crews requested medical help for someone at Nevins Street, a post states.

And straphangers who need the G train could have to wait — a crew shortage prompted officials to run fewer trains along that line, according to a post.
