Man Slashed In The Face On NYC Subway: NYPD

The suspect fled the scene after the incident.

NEW YORK CITY — A 29-year-old man was slashed in the face on a New York City subway train last weekend, police announced on Friday.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Friday.

The incident happened near the 179th Street station aboard an F train last Saturday around 4 a.m., police said.

The 29-year-old man reportedly got into an argument with the suspect before he was slashed in the face with a sharp object, police said.

The man was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene after the incident. He was last seen wearing a blue bucket hat and a blue button down shirt.

No arrests have been made yet. An investigation remains ongoing.
