Suspect Sought For Stabbing Man Repeatedly On NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY — A 25-year-old man was stabbed multiple times aboard a New York City subway train on Sunday.

The stabbing incident happened around 11 a.m. on a northbound 5 train approaching the 149th Street–Grand Concourse station in the Bronx, police said.

The 25-year-old male victim was stabbed multiple times by an unidentified individual.

The individual fled the scene once the train arrived at the station, police said.

The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and red durag.

No arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon.
