Bronx Man Arrested For Queens Man's Murder, Police Say

NEW YORK CITY — A Bronx man has been arrested for the murder of a Queens man whom he shot in the middle of a fight, said police.
Diquinn Lacend, 29, was arrested Friday night and charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the NYPD.
Police said Lacend pulled out a gun while arguing with James Thrower, 31, of Rochdale, on East 162nd Street and Teller Avenue in The Bronx on July 15.

Lacend repeatedly shot Thrower fled on 161st Street, authorities reported.
Medics rushed Thrower to Lincoln where he was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.
