Take A Virtual Legoland Tour Before Park Opens Near NYC

The biggest Legoland in the country is set to open 70 miles from the city.

NEW YORK, NY – A virtual tour of the biggest LEGOLAND amusement park in the country is giving a glimpse of a world dedicated to the building blocks that's scheduled to open just miles outside New York City.

The video, posted on LEGOLAND New York's website, shows sections of the park featuring favorite themed areas including Heartlake City, highlighting the "Friends" line of Lego, as well as a Pirates Shore and Bricktopia, which will have "all kinds of weird" Lego creations.

A Ninjago Zone will include the Ninja-themed blocks and a Dragon rollercoaster will speed through the park.

A recreation of New York City using Lego will also take a central spot in the park when it opens in 2020.

  • A LEGOLAND factory.
  • An immersive 250-room LEGOLAND Hotel, which will feature hundreds of Lego models.
  • The LEGOLAND Driving School, where kids will learn how to drive a LEGO-themed car.
  • A 4-D movie theater that will show a variety of LEGO movies.

The $350 million amusement park will be off of Route 17 in Goshen in Orange County, which is just 70 miles from New York City.

LEGOLAND New York will be open from April to November. The hotel will be open year-round.
