Teen Girl Killed, Another Injured Subway Surfing At NYC Station: NYPD

The two girls fell between train cars​ while subway surfing, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A teen girl was killed and another was left injured after an alleged subway surfing incident late Sunday night, police said.

The two girls were atop a No. 7 train at the 111th Street subway station in Corona around 10:45 p.m when they both fell between the train cars, police said.

One teenager girl was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The other girl was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and is in critical condition as of Monday morning, police said.

Last week, a 13-year-old boy also died while subway surfing in Ridgewood, Queens, Patch previously reported.

The NYPD has not released the ages of the girls or the identity of the deceased victim.

An investigation remains ongoing.
