NEW YORK CITY —Ten neighborhoods in New York City have seen the most rental inventory growth within the last year, according to a new report.

Brooklyn proved to have the most inventory in the market, according to StreetEasy. Queens had two neighborhood make the top 10 list, and Manhattan only secured one spot.

The Bronx and Staten Island were not included in the list.

Other findings from the report include:

· Brooklyn’s median asking price rose 10 percent from last year to $1.1 million due to resilient buyer demand but limited inventory.

· Queens saw a nearly 30 percent jump in condo inventory, which has pushed the borough’s median asking price up almost 8 percent to $689,000.

· Overall, the city sales market remains balanced: contracts rose 6.9 percent, in pace with new listings at 6.8 percent, keeping median days on market steady at 75 days.
