These Are NYC's Top 100 Schools, New Ranking Says

NEW YORK, NY – How's this for comprehensive: The best schools in New York City have been ranked and include private, public and charter schools of all grade levels.

Niche.com, which specializes in educational rankings, released the 2019 list.

Private schools greatly outnumber public on the list, though they certainly have some competition. The public Stuyvesant High School comes in at number 6.

The private Trinity School is classed as the city's best.

Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the US Department of Education along with test scores and feedback from Niche.com users. You can read more about the methodology by clicking here.
