Thief Has World Cup Star's Key To NYC
Allie Long's key, gifted to her by Mayor Bill de Blasio after a parade honoring the women's team's World Cup victory, was stolen.

NEW YORK – A thief has a key to New York City. An intruder burglarized World Cup star Allie Long's Los Angeles hotel room Wednesday and took off with her wedding ring, cash and the key she'd been gifted during Monday's ticker tape parade.
The soccer player had been with the rest of the U.S. women's team attending the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards.
After the @ESPYS show someone stole my wedding ring, cash and the key to my favorite city after just receiving it from my hotel room. Do you make copies @NYCMayor ? I would love a new one.

De Blasio tweeted in response the following morning, "Like any good New Yorker, we keep a spare for our neighbors!"
