Tornado Warning Issued For Part Of NYC
The warning went in place Tuesday evening as thunderstorms passed through the city.

NEW YORK – A tornado warning was issued for part of New York City Tuesday evening as strong thunderstorms passed through, the National Weather Service said.
The warning went in place around 9 p.m. and was lifted about an hour later. It's unknown if any actual twisters formed though there were reports of one causing damage at a New Jersey school.
The tornado warning was issued for Staten Island, along with some New Jersey counties.
