NEW YORK CITY—A harrowing viral video appears to show an NYPD officer using a police vehicle to try to knock a man off a moped along a Queens expressway.

The video first posted Wednesday on Reddit depicts the disbelief of motorists as they watch a police cruiser swerve several times toward a man on a moped.

A woman can be heard frantically telling someone off camera to call 311 to report the incident on the Van Wyck Expressway.

"Oh my God, he's trying to hit him," she says.

"Did you see that?" she asks right after the cop car makes another swerve toward the moped rider.

An NYPD spokesperson said police officials are aware of the video and it's under internal review.

The video cuts off before viewers could see how the chase ended.

Still, Reddit users had seen more than enough to condemn the cop behind the wheel.

"It is dangerous to drive a moped on highway," one wrote. "Cop: tries to teach him the hard way."

"They trying to kill him for riding a moped smh," another wrote.
