Violent NYC Weekend Leaves 6 Dead, 4 Injured: NYPD
The youngest victim was 19, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A vicious and deadly stabbing by a group of youngsters kicked off a violent weekend in New York City that left six people dead and four others wounded, police said.
Six men — the youngest of whom was 19 — were stabbed and shot in The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens in a 53-hour span between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 2:45 a.m. Monday morning, police.
The attacks also saw bullets wound four men, one of whom was critically injured and another who was shot in the face, police said.

The deadly weekend began when Prince McMichael, 27 began arguing with a group of young men, whose ages are estimated to be between 15 and 20, near Bruckner Boulevard and Wilkinson Avenue, authorities said.
The teens ganged up on McMichael, repeatedly stabbed him and ran away, police said.

Roughly five hours later, a shooting on Glenwood Road and Brooklyn Avenue in Flatbush left Remy Julftson, 24, dead and a 29-year-old critically injured by a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.
Later Saturday, Armani McDonald, 19, was fatally stabbed in the neck on Briggs Avenue near Coles Lane in The Bronx about 5 p.m., police said.
Police found two knives at the crime scene and took a person of interest — someone cops believe may have information about the attack — into custody, officials said.
Sunday became deadly about at 1:35 p.m. when bullets began to fly in Elmhurst, Queens, police said.
Edwin Naula, 28, was repeatedly and fatally shot near his home on 41st Avenue and Warren Street and three others were wounded by gunshots, police said.
A 29-year-old man took a bullet to the face, a 32-year-old man was shot in the torso and a 36-year-old was shot in the hand, authorities said.
Naula died at Elmhurst Hospital and others are in stable condition, police said.
Sunday's final fatal shooting occurred in East Harlem Sunday evening about 7:40 p.m. when Elias Castillo, 29, was shot in the abdomen, police said.
Castillo was shot on 116th Street and Second Avenue and later died at Harlem Hospital, police said.
The final deadly incident came Monday morning about 2:45 a.m., when police found a 55-year-old man stabbed to death on a Woodside street corner, authorities said.
No arrests have been made in that case, police said.
