What's Open, Closed On Christmas Day In New York City
Here's a guide to who's shutting their doors for the holiday.

NEW YORK, NY — Christmas is a day off for just about everyone, including the people who keep New York City running. Monday, Dec. 25 is a city, state and federal holiday, so just about every government building will be closed.
It's also the first day of winter recess for New York City schools. The city's 1.1 million students get a break from Christmas Day through New Year's Day.
Many stores, restaurants and movie theaters will be open in case you need to pick something up or get out of your apartment for a few hours.
