Woman Killed By Subway Train At Grand Central During Morning Commute

NEW YORK CITY — A woman was killed after being hit by a New York City subway train inside Grand Central station Monday morning.

The incident happened at 42nd Street and 3rd Avenue around 6:30 a.m., the FDNY said.

The 58-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the incident, 7 train service was suspended in both directions. Some trains headed to 34th Street-Hudson Yards were terminating at 74th Street-Broadway, officials said.

As of 10:30 a.m., 7 trains are making regular stops without any delays.
