Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck By NYC Train

An investigation remains ongoing.

NEW YORK CITY — A woman remains in critical condition after she struck by a subway train during Monday rush hour, police said.

The incident happened at the 74th Street-Broadway station in Queens just before 5 p.m., police said.

A 23-year-old woman fell onto the tracks and was struck by an incoming train. It is not known what led up to the fall, but police say no criminality is suspected.

The woman was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.

The incident disrupted service to the No. 7 train. Service between Queensboro Plaza and Flushing-Main Street was suspended after the incident, but has since resumed regular service.
