Yankee Stadium To Host 5K Run For Cancer Charity
The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation brings its ninth annual Runyon 5K to the ballpark on July 15.

NEW YORK, NY – Yankee Stadium is taking a swing at cancer with a 5K run to raise money for charity.
The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation will hold its ninth annual event at the venue on July 15.
Registration is open with entry costing $45 through June 30, increasing to $60 from July 1 to July 14. The entry fee for children aged 5 to 12 is $25 through July 14.

Participants will wind through the ballpark’s concourses and ramps, including two laps around the warning track that circles the stadium field.
The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation has invested more than $327 million and funded nearly 3,600 scientists, including 12 Nobel Prize winners, in its pursuit of understanding cancer and developing new approaches to prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
