2 Women Indicted for Using Fake $100 Bills at Mall
D.A.: 4 counterfeit bills used at Palisades Center stores, nine more counterfeit bills found.

Two woman who went on a shopping spree at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack using counterfeit $100 bills have been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury in New City, according to District Attorney Thomas Zugibe.
Zugibe said the New York City women wer found to be in possession of nine fake $100 bills when they were arrested Feb. 20 at the mall.
Jeannette Ortiz, 20, of 95 Thayer St., and Lucy Izquierdo, 21, of 19 Donegan Place, have been indicted on the charge of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Ortiz was indicted on 13 counts and Izquierdo was indicted on four counts.

Zugibe said the pair purchased various items from multiple stores at the Palisades Center using four counterfeit $100 bills. Ortiz was found receipts from the stores involved.
