We’d like to commend Crowne Plaza Suffern for their response to Hurricane Sandy. During the storm, my wife and I had lost electricity to our home and were able to find a room at Crowne Plaza. Our original booking was for 7 days, but the power had not been restored for 11 days.
Each day, despite the hotel being booked solid, the staff was able to accommodate us until the day our power finally returned. The staff's efforts to find us a room kept us safe from the cold, and that has meant so much to us. We have previously stayed in the Crowne Plaza Suffern and have brought visiting relatives to the hotel, as well. From now on, Crowne Plaza will be my first choice, every time.
